Wow, Lee's Tavern is like stepping back in time when the prices were low, the food was still amazing, and the atmosphere was lively. I came on a Tuesday afternoon, and Lee's was still relatively full with regulars. I ordered bar pies, and they were the perfect personal size. The white clam pie really had my interest, and it was as good as everyone said it would be! Real pieces of clam on a very thin crust (as it should be). The traditional cheese pie, however, was exceptional as you can see by the half pie photo attached. 🤣 The sauce had a really good flavor; the pie came out hot -- a pizza dream. Staff is hilarious and super friendly! I made some new friends during this perfect lunch. Lee's Tavern is a true Staten Island gem.

New to Staten and was told Lee's has the best pizza. Pub style bar with table seating towars the back. It was quite busy by the bar so walked to the back in hopes of getting someones attention about a table. Immediately 2 people came up to assist with getting a table. Seated right away and ordered the Buffalo Calamari served with blue cheese - it came out quick. Calamari was crispy(not tough) and drenched in buffalo sauce and it was fantastic(sorry no photo) Also ordered their pulled pork pizza. Despite having all the toppings it wasn't soggy. It was a thin crisp crust and had plenty of the pulled pork with peppers and onions. It was outstanding! I will be sure to come back to try others. Oh, and its cash only so be prepared. We weren't and noticed others were paying with cash. There's a store across the street that has an atm with a $2 fee. Worked out :) Overall the service & food are 10/10

This is the best pizzeria on Staten Island and one of the best pizzerias in NYC. It has a traditional old school vibe that makes the atmosphere that much better. Now time for the pie. Thin crust, perfect crisp, made to perfection. Whichever pie you choose to order you won't be disappointed, my personal favorite is the white clam pie, It is absolutely delicious. I also like to order their calamari as an appetizer, it is really good, and don't forget the beer, it with the pizza.

We stopped in for a quick beer and a snack during a day trip to Staten Island. The small bar-sized clam pizza (white sauce) and fried calamari were both great. Everything was very affordable and the server was super nice. Would recommend
